Villa Leones
and Villa Constantia Klien both have a great choice
of nearby beaches along the Costa del Sol, all within
close reach by car. Whether you are looking for water
sports [such as sailing, diving, windsurfing, paragliding,
water skiing, fishing and much more] or just a quite,
relaxing time, perhaps enjoying a little food and drink
or even a little sunbathing, the nearby beaches along
Spain's Costa del Sol really do offer you the choice.
Here we have
provided information on a selection of beaches near
to the Villas and Mijas Golf, which can easily reached
by car within a short space of time. The Costa del Sol
offers provides a large variety of beaches with most
being clean and offering water sports facilities, bars,
restaurants and much more.
Calahonda
Calahonda beach
is a long beach and probably one of the longest near
to Mijas Golf and the villas. The beach features golden
sands and provides access by ramp as well. There are
a few quieter areas along the beach, ideal for those
wanting to get away from the crowds. The beach offers
some water sports facilities including scuba diving.
Here you can also find a number of beach bars.
La Cala
Beach
La Cala beach
won the E.U. blue flag award in 2002. This beach is
a short drive from Mijas Golf and the villas and is
fairly long. There is ramp access here too and in the
peak months a good choice of water sports and equipment
is available. Here too you can find a choice of restaurants
and beach bars.
Butiplaya
Beach
A short distance
from La Cala Beach and within easy reach from Mijas
Golf and the villas, is Buiplaya Beach. Again, this
beach won the E.U. Blue Flag in 2002. Disabled access
is provided here and there are good local facilities.
El Faro
Beach
El Faro beach
is a short drive from Mijas Golf and the villas and
you will often see a number of people shore fishing
or snorkeling from here. The beach is a good length
and is usually kept as clean as possible.
