Mijas Golf Club is located on the Costa del Sol with the
town of Marbella nearby. Mijas Golf has two 18-hole golf courses
which are both individually challenging and yet are suitable
for players of all levels.
The two main Mijas Golf courses are: Los Lagos and Los Olivos.
Los Lagos: 6,367 metres, par 72, Handicap 28/36
Los Olivos: 5,840 metres, par 70, Handicap, 28/36
Los Lagos is the longest of the two courses
at Mijas Golf. This was designed by Robert Trent Jones. It
features 9 lakes, some challenging sand traps and although
there are wide fairways, there are some trees which can trip
you up. Suitable for amateurs but will demand concentration
from all levels of player.
Los Olivos varies from Los Lagos - it has
less water hazards, smaller, raised greens and the course
is shorter. This course has narrower fairways and as with
the name, it has Olive trees both sides.
